This is an identified demand location for WMP with a high level of calls and incidents in this locality. The area includes the retail area, S&C College, The Factory and Train Station. Our team are working closely with the retail staff and security, the college staff and security and our Safer Travel / BTP team. Positive action has been taken around shop thefts and ASB in the area and this partnership work will continue in Spring and into Summer 26.

Officers are conducting increased patrols in the key areas across Longbridge and Rubery to gather information of who is involved and then take appropriate action. Local PCSOs are engaging with the community, local businesses and partners. We are working closely with West Mercia colleagues who have experienced similar issues with in Rubery.
