Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

Location:
Melbury Avenue

Issue:
We have seen a small increase in reports of predominantly youth related ASB in this area, around the shops.

We are committed to identifying those individuals who are acting anti-socially and hold them to account through our partnership.

Planned action to tackle this issue:

- We will enhance our patrols at the key times- We will work to identify those responsible and ensure they are escalated with BCP ASB Team
- We will look to ensure that we are reviewing preventative measures to reduce the issue
- We will use dispersal notices to remove offenders from the area
- We will use our existing ASB reports to review the issue

Theft from motor vehicle

Rossmore area

Issue:
The team have noticed a series of theft from motor vehicles in this area. We have seen social media content of incidents as well.

Planned action to tackle this issue:

- We have acknowledge this as a series
- We have a dedicated officer who has pulled all the reports together and is ensuring we are collating the evidence
- We are working with our partners to problem solve
- We have highlighted this area for targeted patrols by the team, patrol and our colleagues in firearms, traffic and dogs.
- We will ensure preventative messaging at engagements is being pushed out
- We will set up alerts to be notified of new crimes and will review evidential opportunities

- We have composed a Criminal Behaviour Order
- We have seen a reduction in over 50% of reported offences
