We’re taking a proactive and visible approach to tackling shoplifting in Clifton Clifton Down. This includes regular high‑visibility patrols in key retail areas, working closely with shop staff and security teams to share real‑time intelligence, and targeting known offenders through partnership operations. We’re also encouraging businesses to report all incidents so we can identify patterns and respond quickly. By combining prevention, partnership, and enforcement, we’re aiming to reduce thefts and create a safer, more confident shopping environment for everyone.

Non- Dwelling burglaries continue to be a problem within Clifton and we are working in close partnership with Business Improvement District - Lucy Shaw.
