Local Priorities

The Greater Bedminster Neighbourhood Policing Team has identified a rise in anti-social behaviour within Victoria Park. In response, we are working closely with partner agencies to address these concerns and ensure the park remains a safe and welcoming space for all members of the community.
We are committed to taking proactive steps to reduce disruptive behaviour and maintain a positive environment for everyone to enjoy.

Issued: 11 Mar 2026

Status Update

After a report made to Police of a dog walker assaulting a member of the public in Victoria Park in September 2025, a male was identified following a media appeal. He was arrested and has been charged with common assault. He will be appearing before Bristol Magistrates Court in October.

Actioned: 6 Oct 2025

Drug dealing and anti-social behaviour in public spaces are current concerns within the local area. The local Neighbourhood Beat Team is actively addressing these issues through both overt and covert policing methods, with a focus on identifying and disrupting those involved in the supply and use of illegal drugs. If you witness any suspicious activity, please report it to us as soon as possible.
