Local Priorities

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be prioritising regular visits to the eight schools across Downend, Frenchay, and Stoke Park. These visits aim to strengthen engagement with both students and staff, build trust within the school communities, and enhance our visibility and accessibility to the public.

Issued: 1 Mar 2026

We are prioritising the reduction of shoplifting by targeting offenders who have the greatest negative impact on the community. This approach focuses on identifying and disrupting the activity of repeat and prolific shoplifters whose behaviour causes significant harm to local businesses and public confidence.
