ASB & suspected Drug dealing within the Walnut Tree

Status Update

The NHPT are aware of drug use and suspected drug dealing in the Walnut Tree estate. NHPT are actively targeting the hot spot areas and target individuals suspected of being involved in criminality and dealing with them robustly. NHPT officers are engaging with the local schools to identify if students are involved in the reported ASB and shoplifting from the shops. The team have received an increase in reporting of begging particularly around shopping areas. We have issued Community Protection Warnings to several people who have been actively begging and causing a nuisance.

Reports of speeding and racing on the V10 Brickhill Street and H10 Bletcham Way

Status Update

This links in with the Police Operation on Sundays OP Chromium which is all about Car meets and street racing. The neighbourhood team support this operation every Sunday and patrol this area to prevent speeding and racing and enforce any illegal driving. The V10 Brickhill Street by Walton Park is a 40MPH road. The neighbourhood team are having a visible presence on this area and are in the process of arranging speed enforcement there.

An increase in illegal use of E-scooters within Glebe Farm.

Status Update

The NHPT are aware of the use of illegal e-scooters within numerous geographical estates. PCSOs can now use legislation to seize e-scooters and will continue to provide high visibility patrols, target harden areas known for regular use and road traffic legislation will be used. NHPT will continue to educate members of the public, we have now run successful monthly policing operations working jointly with our Roads Policing department to seize e-scooters being ridden illegally within the neighbourhood. The team have run a number of operations targeting the use of e-scooters illegally and have seized over 150 e-scooters since the summer 2025.
