Local Priorities

Anti-social behaviour was voted for as priority in a recent community survey, the Denham and Gerrards Cross neighbourhood team will continue to take steps to prevent and respond to anti-social behaviour. Anti-social behaviour includes issues such as drugs, littering, noise disturbances and youth anti-social behaviour.

Status Update

The neighbourhood policing team continue to tackle anti-social behaviour.

On the weekend of the 08/02/2026 we responded to reports of pony and trap racing on the A413 between Chalfont St Peter and Denham. Working alongside our response officer colleagues robust action was taken in relation to several driving offences being committed. In total, two vehicles were seized and five people were reported for a range of offences. In addition a further individual stopped as part of this response was found to be wanted by another police force and was promptly arrested.

Speeding has been identified as a priority for local residents, they have reported that high speeds across the area represent a risk to community safety.

Status Update

In January we carried out a speed check on Windsor Road, Gerrards Cross during which four drivers were stopped and issued with warnings and two others were reported. Our Special Constabulary have also been out supporting this work in the Gerrards Cross area and reported three further drivers for exceeding 30mph limits.

On 04/04/2026 our colleagues in Roads Policing completed enforcement activity on the A4020 Oxford Road, New Denham. Five drivers were reported for exceeding the limit, one was reported for lamp offences and another for driving without MOT.

On 13/04/2026 the neighbourhood team completed further enforcement activity on Windsor Road, Gerrards Cross. One driver was warned and three others were stopped, reported and now face speed awareness courses or penalty points and fines. The highest speed recorded was 43mph.

Burglary was voted as a top priority for the residents of Denham and Gerrards cross, Bucks TVP have recently started their winter burglary campaign.

Status Update

The neighbourhood policing team have been working hard over the last three months to combat burglary. We have supported wider operations such as Operation Grotto and Operation Pandilla, both of which saw intense proactivity across the Chalfonts, Gerrards Cross, Denham and Iver. These operations resulted in multiple arrests, stop searches, vehicle searches and some excellent disruption. Some of our best results were circulated on the TVP South Bucks Facebook page if you wanted to have a look.
