Status Update

We tackle antisocial behaviour as part of Operation Centurion. We are working closely with the Safer Neighbourhoods Team to engage with youths and offer funded days. Youth panel monthly meetings help to identify which youths are most at risk.

Operation Vulture packs have now been handed out to all main businesses in Hyndburn as well as all businesses being offered the opportunity to sign up for Nice2Share.

Visits have been arranged to repeat victims with the Designing Out Crime Officers and Business Co-ordinators to see what improvements can be made to the stores going forward to reduce repeat shopliftings taking place at these locations.

Operation Rally days have been organised in the town centre with the support of the Mobile Police Station, Police Cadets, Trading Standards, Hyndburn Borough Council and Mounted.

Specific operations are being organised by our Task Force Team to crack down on the use of off-road bikes being driven illegally across the borough.
