1) We have held mulit-agency meetings with BMBC and Berneslai Homes to discuss actions which can be taken such as tenancy warning action to those who live in Berneslai Homes properties.

2) High visibility patrols taking place with PC's and PCSOs in the area to deal robustly with those wanting to commit ASB.

3) Working with local business owners to reduce ASB on premises.

4) Utilising actions through Problem Oriented Policing Plan to tackle ASB.

Actions will continue into the next months to reduce ASB in this location.

Anti-social riding and use of off road bikes in Kendray and Worsbrough.

Issued: 1 Mar 2026

Status Update

We are currently tackling this issue by using a Problem Oriented Policing Plan. We have completed various actions

1) Seizing vehicles where necessary.

2) Using high definition cameras to obtain identities of those using off road vehicles.

3) Using our powers under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act to issue notices to those using vehicles in an anti-social manner.

4) Utilising support from our partners such as the BMBC off road bike team and Berneslai Homes to take tenancy action for those keeping off road vehicles and acting in an anti-social manner.

Joint working continuing with SYP Motorcycle and Rural Crime Team and BMBC to target those riding in an anti-social manner. 3 stolen bikes were found and seized and 3 off road bikes were seized for no insurance recently.

This activity will continue throughout the next few months to keep our roads and public places safe for all to use.
