Status Update

School parking issues - Targeted high visibility patrols during school drop-off and pick-up periods to deter unsafe parking. Support and assist District Council Enforcement activity to address obstructive and unlawful parking. Engage with parents and drivers at the point of contact, providing advice and taking proportionate enforcement where necessary. Share patrol activity and outcomes through social media and community messaging to reinforce compliance. Speeding vehicles - support and coordinate Community Speed Watch deployments, alongside proactive patrols in identified hotspot locations. Conduct enforcement and engagement activity aimed at driver education and compliance. Publicise enforcement activity, results, and community involvement via Derbyshire Alert and local channels. Continue to task patrols based on intelligence, complaints, and emerging trends. Pit Trails / Nuisance E-Bikes and Scooters - Conduct proactive and intelligence led patrols at varying times to deter nuisance riding and provide reassurance.
