Local Priorities

We work with the community and local partners, while also looking at our own data, to come up with priorities for Holt for the next three months. These are currently:
Tackling antisocial behaviour, drug misuse and retail theft in and around Holt.

Issued: 12 Mar 2026

Status Update

We have held a multi-agency meeting including with parents and a local young person to address ongoing concerns around antisocial behaviour.

A local dog owner with existing ‘Dog Incident Form’ conditions has been issued with a breach letter after being non-compliant.

A partnership meeting was held earlier this week in April, to address the suspects of persistent ASB in the community and to explore diversionary options, as well as discuss those who have already been through the court process or are on referral orders.

The beat manager attended a drop-in surgery with the Holt Town Council this week, aimed at businesses, to gather information about how this ASB is affecting them and how we can assist.

Foot patrols around antisocial behaviour hotspot areas of Holt, including town centre.

Drop-in sessions for businesses regarding antisocial behaviour, along with partnership meeting for known individuals causing concern.

Park Walk Talks and high-visibility patrols have continued across Holt centre, the high street, Albert Street and Woodfield Avenue to tackle and disrupt youth anti-social behaviour.
Further checks have been done at Holt Hall, following reports of break-ins and criminal damage.
