Local Priorities

The Priority for the Bilborough ward for the next three months, commencing 01/04/2026 will be antisocial behaviour.
Over the last few months we have identified a number of locations where ASB has increased. Consultation with residents and partners has identified the need for some increased problem solving and partnership working.
Together we will address the issues.

Status Update

May Update

I am pleased to report that our partners in Housing have made some urgent repairs and completted actions around the Complex identfied as a hot spot in ASB and this has resulted in instant reductions , in fact in April we had zero calls to the area , which is good for the residents .
I am also pleased to report that through work with housing and socail care we have been able to move a vulnerable male from the Bilborough area to accomodation elsewhere in the City where he will recieve more appropriate support and this will reduce incidents in that locality .
We worled with NCT and managed to identify one young male from a group who admitted to throwing stones at Buses on the area , his parents were supportive and I do not believe he will be repeating his part in that behaviour .
And Finally work is progressing against a property on the Denewood area which is being used for anti social drug related activity , all agencies are engaged to safe guard and take action .
