Local Priorities

Criminal damage

Issued: 26 May 2026

Status Update

The criminal damage figures remain low however are still a focus point for our team. As summer approaches there is often a trend for damage to increase also. To combat this as an NPT team ongoing patrols will be carried out. Visits to the library and NAP meetings to discuss target hardening and crime prevention to promote safer communities.

Actioned: 26 May 2026

Antisocial behaviour (ASB)

Issued: 29 Jan 2026

Status Update

The crime and ASB figures for the ward remain low. Looking back on previous years we envisage that as we move into Spring, we will see an increase in ASB figures, usually centring around Zetland Park. The Inspector will be keeping a close eye on the figures and will organise patrols accordingly.
The NPT Inspector attends community groups at Laburnum Library on a regular basis, offering Cleveland Connected sign-ups and cold caller advice and packs. He also attends the Neighbourhood Action Partnership meeting for the Zetland Ward.
We encourage members of the public to report any incidents to us via the 101 number, online (including the chat box option) on the Cleveland Police website or by using the COPA app.
