Local Priorities

Off road motorbikes / Anti-social driving

Issued: 11 Mar 2026

Status Update

We are aware of ongoing concerns about off-road motorbikes linked to antisocial behaviour and community disruption. Officers continue proactive patrols in key locations, identifying those responsible and taking action, engaging with individuals, gathering intelligence, and using enforcement powers where necessary. Vehicles have already been seized, and by combining community intelligence with visible policing, we aim to reduce harm, improve safety, and restore confidence in affected areas.

Anti-social behaviour

Issued: 10 Mar 2026

Status Update

We have been doing everything we can to tackle antisocial behaviour, with targeted, high-visibility patrols in hotspot areas and proactive engagement with the community. Officers have identified individuals responsible and taken proportionate measures, including words of advice, building positive relationships with young people, engaging with parents and guardians, conducting community surveys, and issuing Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) where appropriate. While these steps have made an impact, work continues to prevent escalation and deliver long-term solutions.
