Local Priorities

Burglary Dwellings around Haddenham and surrounding areas has again been voted as a priority in the latest community survey.

Status Update

The local neighbourhood policing team are working to deter and reduce burglary dwelling
We will measure improvements by comparing previous numbers of reports to those numbers moving forward. All data to be shared in future updates.

PCSO Fahy and police volunteer Linda conducted a crime prevention leaflet drop in the target areas
April update: no residential Burglary for the month of March. 1 report of Business Burglary.
May Update: 1 reported residential burglary. A TV Alert was sent out to registered residents of Haddenham and Waddesdon re home security advice with a downloadable security guide.
Actions to include using Social media to share crime prevention messages. We will be holding minimum monthly have your Say events, to be advertised on social media
This priority will be reviewed quarterly as per community survey results and the actions reviewed 30th monthly to ensure progress or change actions.

Rogue Traders and scams were voted a new priority in the latest community survey.

Status Update

The team will be working with the local communities and parish councils to deter rogue trading and scams. They will provide anti fraud/scam advice via TV Alerts and regular Have Your Say events to give residents a chance to talk to us face to face.
Rogue traders are sporadic across the area of Haddenham and Waddesdon, as of note there has been no reported incidents of Rogue Traders or scams of this nature across the month of March.
Thsi new priroity will be reviewed quarterly in line with community survey results and the actions and incidents reviewed 30th monthly.
