Local Priorities

We are aware of some recent incidents linked to drug-related anti-social behaviour in parts of the Kingswood area.

Local officers are continuing to focus on this issue through targeted patrols, engagement with residents and businesses, and working closely with partner agencies to address concerns early and prevent escalation. At this time, there is no indication of any wider threat to the community, but we understand the impact that anti-social behaviour can have on people’s sense of safety. Please be reassured that these matters are being actively managed. We would encourage anyone who has information or ongoing concerns to report them to us so we can make best use of our local knowledge and resources. Community intelligence plays an important role in helping us take appropriate action.

We’ve continued our patrols in and around Regent Street in response to this issue. Whilst conducting patrols, an individual was arrested for drug offences. Enquiries into this investigation are ongoing.
