Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.

Issued: 4 Feb 2026

Status Update

Officers are carrying out regular patrols across the area and are working closely with local residents and businesses to prevent nuisance behaviour. We also encourage people to report incidents so that those involved can be identified and dealt with appropriately.

Where young people are identified as causing ongoing issues, officers take proportionate action. This can include Acceptable Behaviour Agreements, which are voluntary agreements made with a child and their parents to help stop problem behaviour. Officers may also use educational workbooks and refer young people to diversionary courses run by the Child‑Centred Policing Team to support positive behaviour change.

Road safety issues.

Issued: 3 Feb 2026

Status Update

We have increased patrols in and around Bredhurst following concerns about road safety. The increased police presence has helped deter issues and improve driver behaviour.
Community Speedwatch activity has also taken place within the village to help address speeding concerns raised by residents.
