Antisocial behaviour - general.

Issued: 3 Feb 2026

Status Update

Beat officers continue to patrol the ward and deal with antisocial behaviour reported in Hadlow, Shipbourne and the surrounding villages. This includes nuisance bikes, which are stopped and dealt with whenever possible. This covers off‑road bikes, as well as e‑bikes and e‑scooters being used antisocially or illegally.

Officers also have a good working relationship with staff at Fairlawn and regularly share information about issues affecting their land. This helps us respond more quickly and prevent problems from continuing or returning.

Nuisance motorbikes.

Issued: 3 Feb 2026

Status Update

Reports of nuisance off‑road bikes using woodland tracks and footpaths remain occasional. In many cases, the information received is too limited to allow for targeted action. Actively pursuing vehicles off‑road can also require disproportionate resources. However, any clear or actionable information provided by the public is reviewed and used to help inform patrol planning where possible.
