Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.

Issued: 3 Feb 2026

Status Update

Officers have increased targeted patrols in areas repeatedly linked to nuisance antisocial behaviour, including residential streets and Leybourne Lakes. This increased visibility helps deter low‑level disorder, reassure residents, and allows officers to step in quickly when issues arise.

Officers have continued to speak with local residents during this work. This has helped identify specific households linked to repeated complaints. Information gathered is being used to support problem‑solving work, partnership activity with housing providers, and to guide further visits or enforcement where appropriate.

This work helps address concerns raised by residents, encourages safer driving, and provides a visible police presence in areas where speeding and poor driving are reported most often.

Officers have also attended New Hythe Lane following reports of vehicles gathering after being moved on from other car meets in the local area. Any offences identified have been dealt with, and vehicles have been moved on where appropriate.
