Status Update
The Delves neighbourhood team will increase patrols of the location. House to house re-assurance has already started in the location and will continue. Officers will be proactive in the location and deal robustly with individuals committing crime. A venue will be identified to conduct monthly Cuppa with a Coppa events so that the community have the opportunity to meet the local neighbourhood team and get regular monthly updates.

Update 21/01/2026
The Neighbourhood team have been proactively patrolling around the local area. Various stop searches have been carried out for various matters. Several youths were stop searched in Palfrey Park after a call to police regards a knife in the park ( No knives found ) This location will remain a priority.

Officers from the local neighbourhood team continue to patrol palfrey park on a regular basis, also hold cuppa with a copper events at the seed hut and meet with residents and partners to discuss matters of concern.

Officers from the local neighbourhood team continue to patrol palfrey park on a regular basis. As the clocks go forward and the easter holidays around the corner and hopefully warmer weather the park will gradually get busier during the spring/summer period. The location will remain a priority.

Officers from the neighbourhood team continue to patrol the park and have seen a increase in visitors during the Easter break and the lighter evenings and warmer weather. The location will remain a priority for the local neighbourhood team.

Status Update
The team will be carrying out targeted patrols across both wards especially during the darker nights period. We will be liaising both Street Watch and Neighbourhood Watch schemes to ensure we are maximising visibility and and taking opportunities to share crime prevention advice widely.

Officers have maintained patrol in the area concerned and will continue to do so as the darker nights are still upon us. Local NHW have been kept up to date with crime figures and regular WMNOW messages have been sent out to keep the community informed.

Officers from the Delves neighbourhood team continue to conduct regular patrols of the location and engage with local residents. A huge thank you to the Parkhall streetwatch team out in all weathers for the help and support they give to the local community.
