Crime in Roehampton, Wandsworth

Taking an intelligence led approach, we will monitor and assess information on a daily basis to build an accurate picture of drug activity. We will link people, locations and vehicles to corroborate our intelligence. We will work in collaboration with other teams to obtain and execute warrants, ensuring that tackling linked criminal activity is maximised across Wandsworth borough

We will monitor activity through proactive patrols and seek solutions using partnership oriented problem-solving strategies.. We will enforce ASB legislation available to us (CPW, CPNs) and enforce breaches. We will utilise other resources such as local authority community safety officers and housing departments to advise on the consequence of continued ASB.

Robbery remains a long term priority across the MPS. We have used data analysis and predictive crime mapping to identify areas of high incidence. This gathered intelligence allows us to focus our proactive patrols in hot spot areas. Patrols are conducted in plain clothes, to better identify any suspects committing these offences and hi-visibility to deter any criminality in the area..
