Local Priorities

The Thatcham Neighbourhood Policing Team has received multiple reports of suspected drug use and drug dealing in locations close to Mount Road and surrounding areas of North Thatcham. These reports indicate a recurring pattern of activity across parks, alleyways and nearby residential areas.

Officers are also actively monitoring a closure order currently in place within the Thatcham area to ensure compliance and disrupt further criminal activity.

A number of stop searches have been conducted as part of intelligence‑led patrols, and the Neighbourhood Policing Team continues to work in conjunction with the local tasking team to better target those involved in offending and deploy resources effectively.

This work remains ongoing and is supported by continued information from the community, which plays a vital role in helping officers address concerns and reduce harm.
