Status Update
In relation to tackling drug-related crime and ASB, we will: 1. Build and develop community intelligence around illegal drug use and supply. 2. Proactively patrol hotspot locations and stop search suspected offenders. 3. Work with partners to provide rehabilitative interventions for low-level offending. In relation to prevent overnight theft offences we will: 1. Conduct overnight crime hotspot patrols. 2. Support fast-tracks crime investigations and seek out disruption opportunities. 3. Publish crime prevention messaging in response to current trends and conduct target hardening events with tool and bike marking activities. In relation to working with partners to improve road safety, we will: 1. Carry out regular speed enforcement in identified areas. 2. Use engagement and enforcement to change driver behaviour. 3. Work with schools to change parking habits at school drop off and pick up times.
