**Update 06/04/2026**
A local person was arrested for offences unrelated to drugs however subsequent searches of property found drug paraphernalia at a property linked to the individual a number of items seized and the investigation continues
**Update 23rd April 2026**
A total of 3 warrants have been executed within the Eastfield area on the 22/04/26 in relation to drug activity. These warrants formed part of a wider enforcement operation focused on tackling serious and organised criminality. Investigations are under way

**Update 6th April 2026 **
we have been receiving a high number of reports in relation to youths in the Eastfield area causing concern. Please continue to report any incidents via the control room we will be providing reassurance patrols in those effected areas

A high Visibility deployment by the off road bike team was carried out across known hotspot locations in the Eastfield and Filey areas including the Dell and Bluebell woods aimed at disrupting the nuisance riding, deterring further anti-social behaviour and providing reassurance to residents affected by persistent off -road and E-bike riders

A number of young persons have been causing problems within the area of Highstreet we are working closely with partners to tackle the issues please contact 101 if you are aware of any problems that we need to be aware of

OP Tourist - In our ongoing commitment to creating safer communities, we work closely with a range of partners including local authorities, licensed premises, community safety teams and support services to reduce drink related ASB and all forms of violence, particularly violence against women and girls. Through joint initiatives such as high-visibility patrols and targeted operations. We aim to prevent incidents before they occur having proactive engagement, raising public awareness and encouraging reporting.
Our collaborative approach ensures that interventions are intelligence-led and victim-focused, with shared responsibility across agencies to promote safety and well being. By fostering strong relationships and open communication, we are better equipped to identify emerging risks, respond swiftly to concerns such as spiking, and support vulnerable individuals. Together, we are building a more resilient and respectful environment for everyone who lives in, works in, or visits our communities.

** Update 2nd March 2026**
Filey NPT team attended a number of the holiday parks and carried out some inputs with our partners around what to look out for around domestic violence, exploitation it was a really well received day working together with our partners we will continue through the year to carry out engagement days
**Update 6th April 2026 **
Officers attended reports of a drunk male causing issues at one of the holiday parks refusing to leave officers attended swiftly and were able to disrupt and further instances by removing the male from the area

As part of a wider operation on the coast on the 22nd April 2026 officers carried out high visibility patrols within the Filey area engaging with communities providing reassurance. The deployments included traffic enforcement , retail crime and other partner led operations
