Local Priorities

Antisocial Behaviour (ASB)

Issued: 12 May 2026

Status Update

The Neighbourhood Policing Team continues to carry out regular patrols, focusing on areas where reports of ASB have been made.

We work closely with partners to tackle this type of behaviour, identify those responsible, and manage persistent offenders and locations.

We also continue to carry out intervention work with local schools and youth groups through our dedicated Neighbourhood Youth Officers.

Where alcohol related ASB is reported - Working with local shops and colleagues in licensing around the sale and consumption of alcohol. Referrals to support agencies to help with drink and drug addiction will be made where appropriate.

Where youth ASB is reported - Our Neighbourhood Youth Officers (NYOs) work closely with individuals involved, along with other support and partner agencies, to divert young people away from this pattern of behaviour.
