Status Update
- A police contact point has been established at Abu Bakar Masjid, held every Friday at 1pm, to improve accessibility and engagement with local residents.
A police contact point has now been established at McDonalds , Thornbury. This is to allow residents to speak to local officers.
Operational Response:
- A targeted operation is underway to address antisocial vehicle use, including off-road bikes, electric bikes, and vehicles operated without valid documentation.
- Residents are encouraged to report offenders and vehicle storage locations. Reports can be made anonymously and will assist in shaping enforcement activity.
- A recent day of action with local council enforcement, DVSA and taxi licensing resulted in 12 vehicles being removed form the area for varying reasons. These include no tax or MOT, causing obstruction or abandoned.

Bowling and Barkerend Ward Areas
- Antisocial vehicle use in and around Bowling Park.
- Target drug supply in the Barkerend area.
- Proactive enforcement against drug use and drug dealing in the Henford Drive area.
- To reduce the unlawful and antisocial use of fireworks within the ward area through targeted engagement, education, and proactive enforcement.
- Work closely with local businesses and organisations to reduce antisocial use of vehicles and fireworks that cause an ongoing nuisance to local residents.

Status Update
Bradford East NPT remains committed to working in partnership with residents and stakeholders to address local concerns and improve community safety. We welcome information from the public to support our problem-solving efforts and encourage continued engagement through our contact points and online reporting channels.
Ongoing Action:
We will continue to patrol the area proactively and engage with local venues and residents to prevent further incidents. We are also exploring planning and licensing conditions with the local council to support long-term prevention.

- Multi agency day of action is planned during the month of May
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) – Peel Park
- High-visibility patrols in the park and surrounding streets.
- Use of ASB legislation to divert individuals from criminality.
- Escalation to formal police action when necessary.
- Day of action and engagement day in May at the BMX track
Drug Activity – Intelligence Gathering
- Focus on street dealing, consumption, and suspected grow/supply locations.

Status Update
- As a new school term begins local officers are back at school gate surgeries, and engaged with school talks. Providing a visible reassurance and undertaking enforcement action with regards to poor and inconsiderate parking.
- Continued patrols of emerging hotspots – allowing the development of intelligence to undertake proactive warrants regards to suspected cannabis grows in the area.
- Large scale drug supply arrest made in April – resulting in 1 arrest and the recovery of a large quantity of drugs. The investigation remains ongoing with the arrested subject on police bail.
- New public meetings being launched in the area – 6 weekly Police and communities together meeting – check Community alert for details.
