Status Update

Residents previously asked us to focus on the following issues:

Address fly-tipping in Tring and surrounding villages.
• Patrols have been carried out in areas where fly-tipping has been reported. These continue.
• Landowners have been given advice.
• Officers have been liaising with colleagues in the Rural Operational Support Team and at the borough council to help tackle the issue.
• An operation was held to check waste carrier licenses. Multiple vehicles were stopped, with one person issued with a Community Resolution for transporting controlled waste without registering as a carrier.

Continue to tackle vehicle related anti-social behaviour in Berkhamsted.
• Multiple speed check operations have been conducted in areas that residents have highlighted as a concern, with several drivers being spoken to and tickets being issued.
• Patrols have been carried out in areas where anti-social vehicle use has been reported, mainly during the evenings. Section 59 warning notices have previously been issued.
