Prolific shoplifters targeting One-Stop stores across our area. They will then attend local pubs to sell their stolen items.

Status Update

We are continuing to work alongside our partners and local business across our area. This includes close partnership work with security staff and shop workers, targeted patrols by our local officers and crime reduction advice and support.

Local licensees are visited and advised to call us if people are trying to sell stolen items in their local pub. Several offenders have recently been arrested and charged for theft offences

Off Road Bikes. We receive regular reports regarding off road bikes causing issues on our estates and local parks.

Status Update

We have conducted a number of intelligence-led patrols of the identified hotspot areas and have seized a number of road bikes over the last six months, and will look to continue to do so moving forward.

We also work closely with the local Council both to make them aware of the issues and to work together to integrate control measures to stop people getting access to parks and open areas where they can ride the bikes.
