Burglary residential.

Issued: 3 Feb 2026

Status Update

There has been one report of a residential burglary in this area within the last three months. Kent Police continues to focus on burglary prevention through proactive policing and strong engagement with the community.

Officers work to reduce the risk of burglary by providing practical crime‑prevention advice, such as securing homes, marking property, and using alarms and CCTV to deter offenders.

Proactive patrols and investigations have also led to the identification and arrest of burglary suspects. Recent cases across the county have resulted in significant prison sentences for offenders involved in wider burglary series.

Local beat teams will continue to patrol areas identified as higher risk, providing reassurance to residents and helping to prevent further offences. High‑visibility patrols have also taken place during the autumn months to deter crime and increase police presence.
