Local Priorities

Tackling Anti Social Behaviour and feelings of safety

Issued: 26 Feb 2026

Status Update

We have recently investigation a series of event between neighbours which has escalated to criminal offences being committed putting the victim in fear for their safety. We have taken action against the suspect through making an arrest and charging them to court. We have imposed bail conditions as well as issuing the suspect with a community protection notice to prevent them from further causing a nuisance with their neighbours. We have also held initial meetings with managers from Birmingham Business park and will be holding a number of lunch club sessions for employees to come and attend and discuss their concerns with us.

We have a number of tools at our disposal including local speed watches, enforcement operations as well as support from the road harm team with their mobile police van. I would as if you have concerns about speeding in your area, please get in touch with your local officer and we tell you what we are already doing in your area as well as offer further support.

To tackle instances of Fly tipping

Issued: 26 Feb 2026

Status Update

We have observed a number of instances in our area in recent months of where fly tipping has occurred and the impact this has had on the community. We have built positive relationships with the local authority where we will support their investigations. This has resulted in a fixed penalty being given to one person for disposing of waste with further investigations which will likely lead to fines. We have even discussed joint patrols to tackle known hot spot areas.
