Local Priorities

There has been a recent spike in ASB on Bodmin Ave by the Co-op and surrounding areas (Baswich) . This is taking place approx. 19:00-21:00HRS with a large group of youths causing issues.

We've had an increase of reports of e-bikes and e-scooters causing a nuisance in Baswich and Weeping Cross for other members of the community trying to use the pavements and park areas.

Status Update

We have held engagement events at a farm in Hixon with BASC to improve relationships in the rural community and upskilled our rural and wildlife officers. Patterns and trends have been shared across the wider teams and we are holding more visits to our farms to offer farm surveys. Our website will soon be launching the rural and wildlife platform for these type of crimes to be reported and we will continue to meet with our wider partners every three months. No offender has been identified at this time, but we will continue to monitor this.

Updates will be provided to partners of the the rural crime group to raise awareness and report any further issues.
