Status Update
A dedicated town centre officer will be assigned to work Monday - Friday as a single point of contact for wider partners and businesses to link in with. This is in addition to the officers on each shift that will cover this area to target shoplifting. We also have various operations planned throughout the next three months to target this issue.
We are working to issue Community Protection Notices, dispersal notices and most recently Criminal Behaviour Orders to keep our prolific shop lifters out of the town.
