Officers have been working hard to increase their visibility in the area and have carried out regular speed checks within the community. This has led to a range of positive outcomes, including education for drivers, fixed penalty tickets and warning letters for those found committing offences.

Officers have spent time in the community as part of our engagement work, continuing to provide updates and respond to the concerns residents have raised. We have focused on high‑visibility patrols to deter offending, while also supporting those most affected by this type of crime to ensure they receive safeguarding and help where needed.

At the same time, officers are working with those responsible for these offences to provide education and, where appropriate, ensure positive outcomes through the criminal justice system. Our aim is to protect the community, reduce offending and support everyone affected.
