High visibility patrols in the area, work with our county proactive and rural team and our road crime team to take positive action.

Anti-social behaviour has been reported as an issue in this area involving electric scooters especially through the main paved areas, which is causing issues for other pedestrians and local residents. We will provide a high-visibility presence in the area and ask for support from our road crime team. PCSOs will also remind parents through the schools around the laws and dangers of these scooters.

We have identified a key individual that appears to be the main dealer in Doxey and after proactively targeting him and his associates. He has been arrested and is due to be sentenced in the coming weeks. We have also conducted stop searches and positive arrests allowing us to seize phones and work through the investigation process. This is an ongoing priority and officers will perform targeted patrols over the next three months.
