There have been several reports of shoplifting at Sainsbury’s on Maxwell Road.

Issued: 1 Apr 2026

Status Update

Officers are conducting increased patrols across Maxwell Road and surrounding streets to provide a visible police presence and act as a deterrent to further offending.
With the assistance of Sainsbury’s staff, who have provided strong evidential support, a number of offenders have been arrested and successfully prosecuted. Police will continue to work closely with store staff to prevent further incidents and respond swiftly to any reports.

Pyebush Roundabout / Old Town – Anti-Social Driving Update
The Neighbourhood Team has received a number of reports concerning anti-social driving in the Old Town area, including around the Pyebush Roundabout.

Status Update

We are working in conjunction with the Roads Policing Unit to address this behaviour. Ongoing targeted operations are being carried out on the main arterial routes in and out of Beaconsfield, with the aim of deterring unsafe driving, enforcing road traffic legislation, and improving road safety for all users.

Wilton Park / Minerva Way – Anti-Social Behaviour Update
There have been reports of anti-social behaviour involving groups of teenagers targeting the abandoned properties in the Wilton Park / Minerva Way area.
