Crime in Wendover, Halton and Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire

The neighbourhood team are working to reduce instances of ASB. We previously saw an increase in Wendover woods with motor bikes, causing damage and noise in the woods, this will be reviewed to see if still an issue, especially with warmer days/evenings ahead. We are conducting hi visibility patrols in the area and have ongoing partnership working with parish councils and local residents and businesses to identify offenders and take robust action. .
April Update: 9 reported incidents in March 2026
May update: 6 recorded cases of ASB a decrease of 33% on the previous month.
Review to be completed quarterly in conjunction with community survey to ascertain if issues are still persistent and a concern for the community. Actions are reviewed 30th monthly to ensure progress.

The Wendover neighbourhood team are working to improve road safety by reducing speeding. Speed Surveys will be completed on a monthly basis. We will work with the local Speed watch group and further surveys will be completed by the team and results shared in future updates. . Once target areas have been identified we will look to complete enforcement action with Roads Policing.
Communicating the results to the public and partnership agencies via social media and TV Alerts.
Hi Visibility patrols are also being conducted in target areas, to deter and reduce incidents.

The neighbourhood team will work with residents and local councils to deter Rogue Traders and support victims of fraud or scams.
As this is a new priority for the team we will conduct reassurance visits to victims and provide prevention advice via Have Your Say events and social media including TV Alerts. If identified adult safeguarding forms will be completed to ensure adequate monitoring and protection.
