Kent Police did not receive any reports of antisocial behaviour in Wincheap during February. Officers have been patrolling the areas that were previously highlighted as concerns, and no antisocial behaviour has been seen or reported. We will continue to patrol these areas and will provide an update if this issue arises in the future.

In March, PC Angell recovered a stolen motorbike in Thanington and arrested a man in connection with the theft. In February, we received four calls about nuisance vehicles. Two of these involved young children riding mini‑motos on grassed areas, and the other two related to a dirt bike being ridden in the Thanington area. Officers were not on duty at the time of the calls and were unable to attend.

With summer approaching, we expect to see an increase in calls about nuisance motorcycles. We will continue to maintain a visible presence in the Wincheap area, supported by colleagues, and will take firm action against any riders causing problems. We also plan to work with the Road Safety Unit to target nuisance vehicles over the summer months.
