Local Priorities

1. Tackling drug-related crime and anti-social behaviour
2. Preventing overnight thefts
3. Reducing youth-related anti-social behaviour in hotspot areas

Issued: 12 Feb 2026

Status Update

We are tackling crime and anti social behaviour linked to the supply of illegal drugs, working to identify those involved and reduce the impact on local residents. We are also concentrating on preventing overnight thefts by increasing patrols and offering practical crime prevention advice to help protect homes and vehicles. In addition, we are addressing youth related anti social behaviour through targeted patrols in hotspot areas and by working with partners to support long term solutions. Together, these priorities aim to create a safer and more confident community for everyone.
