Status Update

• Drug dealing - in specific locations in Wisbech
Wisbech Neighbourhood Policing Team continue to target people in and around the town who commit drug dealing offences. Stop searches have been completed in the area when officers have the justifiable grounds to dop so. This action will continue along with the high visibly patrols to deter those dealing drugs in the Wisbech area.

• Anti-social behaviour in the town centre relating to e-scooters and street drinking
Officers have seized several e-bikes and e-scooters that have been sent for destruction. We are actively looking for these bikes in our town centre, and we will continue to seize them and prosecute anyone caught committing offences.
• Increased high visibility patrols offering the community reassurance in the town centre and further engagement
Officers are working hard to be more visible in the town centre and looking to engage with our communities when we are out on patrol. We have been enforcing Public Space Protection Orders in the town, regularly seizing and disposing of alcohol. This enforcement will be escalated in the summer months.
