Status Update

You have reported nuisance youths as your top concern. We have listened to your views and expectations to formulate a response.
Action:
- We are working directly with the teenagers involved to find resolutions which support all residents. We will continue to patrol the area and meet with residents to discuss any ongoing concerns to develop our working strategy. All work is completed with the support of our partners.
Speeding traffic
Residents of Gamesley and St Johns are continuing to highlight the impact of speeding within the area, raising concerns about speeding traffic.
Action:
- We are supporting Gamesley Speed Watch – please contact us if you would like to be involved. We are also conducting patrols and liaising with the community about any hotspots. Anti-social behaviour (ASB) We understand how disruptive ASB can be and how it can affect the day-to-day lives of everyone.
Action:
- We are tackling ASB through proactive patrols,, and proactive and reactive community engagement. For any of the above issues, please raise any concerns with your local officers, via 101, on the Derbyshire Constabulary website or through Crimestoppers (online or on 0800 555111) if you wish to remain anonymous.
