Using a combination of your feedback and our own data, we have set the below as the things your local neighbourhood policing teams across north of Peterborough will prioritise for January to March 2026:

• ASB in the Bretton centre
• Anti social use of E-scooters
• ASB at Peterborough City Hospital

Issued: 22 Dec 2025

Status Update

• ASB in the Bretton centre
Officers from the neighbourhood team have investigated reports of anti-social behaviour at The Cresset and have been working closely with partners to address the issue.

A perpetrator was identified and is now working with the youth justice diversion team.

Neighbourhood officers have regularly conducted patrols, as well as liaising with businesses and youth services.

Multi‑agency meetings have taken place to coordinate response and share information. Work still needs to be done to address this issue and it will be carried over as a priority for April to June.

• Anti-social use of E-scooters

Officers seized multiple e-scooters and e-bikes across the district and conducted linked stop searches. Some of these resulted in further arrests for going equipped.

In addition to seizures, officers have engaged with riders during patrols and days of action. Education and warnings have been issued.

• ASB at Peterborough City Hospital

High visibility patrols have been increased at Peterborough City Hospital, with officers engaging with staff, security, patients and anyone acting anti-socially.

There has been a reduction in reports, but this needs to be monitored in the coming months to evaluate long-term effectiveness.
