Issued: 1 Apr 2026
Status Update

This has been communicated through Neighbourhood Link (NHL) surveys, e-mails and calls to the Beat Team and partner agencies. These include North West Leicestershire District Council and housing providers such as East Midlands Housing.
We have conducted a number of targeted patrols, on foot, to really show presence on the streets and in the parks where ASB has been highlighted. Investigations have been carried out into allegations of ASB particularly involving teenagers kicking and banging residents’ doors. This has involved joint agency work with the Local Authority and their ASB team, local Housing Providers such as EMH and local schools. A number of ASB contracts, advice letters and warnings have been given out.
We have also posted social media appeals highlighting the nuisance to the community ASB creates and the ways to report this.
We continue to work on dealing with those using off road motorbikes and will actively seize any we identify. We are working with the local housing providers on this as such use can threaten a tenancy.
