We have stopped several HGVs during the month and found most are lawfully operating within the wight restricted area. One HGV was caught between Ibstock and Heather and this was not exempt so the driver was reported for the offence. Another haulier was identified as having vehicles use the weight restricted area and they have been advised that if this continues they will be reported too.

Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) on the parks through the use of off road motorbikes in Greenhill, ASB at some of the local shops in Greenhill and on some of the residential streets in Agar Nook and Greenhill.

Issued: 1 Apr 2026

Status Update

You said teenagers are causing Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) on the parks in Greenhill, at some of the local shops In Greenhill and some of the residential streets in Agar Nook and Greenhill.

This has been communicated through Neighbourhood Link (NHL) surveys, e-mails and calls to the Beat Team and partner agencies. These include North West Leicestershire District Council and housing providers such as East Midlands Housing.

We have conducted a number of targeted patrols, on foot, to really show presence on the streets and in the parks where ASB has been highlighted. Investigations have been carried out into allegations of ASB particularly involving teenagers kicking and banging residents’ doors. This has involved joint agency work with the Local Authority and their ASB team, local Housing Providers such as EMH and local schools. A number of ASB contracts, advice letters and warnings have been given out.

We have also posted social media appeals highlighting the nuisance to the community ASB creates and the ways to report this.

We continue to work on dealing with those using off road motorbikes and will actively seize any we identify. We are working with the local housing providers on this as such use can threaten a tenancy.
