You said: We have received an increase in the number of issues reported, associated with licensed premises in the area.
Issued: 1 Apr 2026

We will: We will work with licensing officers and complete visits to licensed premises to ensure conditions are being adhered to, to ensure a safe environment for all.
We have completed visits at licensed premises and engaged with licencees around safety and their responsibilities. All parties so far have engaged well and are keen to maintain high standards. We have also secured merchandise associated with our Walk Away campaign. This surrounds the message to encourage those in our pubs and nightclubs to walk away from confrontation. We will be engaging with our pubs and handing out items during night time economy patrols.
Whilst we have liaised with a number of our licensees across the beat, we are still seeing pockets of anti-social behaviour and reports of drug use in our public houses. In light of this, and the coming months showing World Cup games, this priority will continue in to the next period.
We are continuing to engage with and liaise with licensed premises across the beat. We are working with licensing and offering guidance to local establishments.
