Local Priorities

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will actively target and seize illegal e-bikes and scooters operating in the Staple Hill and New Cheltenham areas. These vehicles are having a detrimental impact on our communities, and addressing this issue is a key priority for us.

We have received reports of Anti-social behaviour and criminal damage at the facilities at Page Park. We will be completing high-visibility patrols, liaising with partner agencies and dealing pro-actively with offenders. 

We will continue high visibility patrols of Staple Hill High Street to re-assure business and the community, prevent shop theft and ASB.

Officers from Staple Hill NPT will be at the Celebrate With Me Event in Page Park. South Gloucestershire will once again host the much-loved "Celebrate With Me" festival on Saturday 27 June, marking its fifth year of bringing people together in a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity and community spirit. Enjoy world music and dance, crafts, wellbeing activities, delicious food, and a beautiful Artisan Market. Taking place at the end of Refugee Week, this special festival embraces the theme "Courage", celebrating the strength and resilience of people seeking sanctuary, and creating a space of welcome for all. Local officers will be in attendance with Police vehicle & crime prevention advice.
