Officers have worked hard to gather evidence relating to nuisance bikes in the community. This has led to warnings being issued to the riders or vehicle owners. If the behaviour continues and continues to impact the community, these warnings can lead to sanctions or fines for those responsible.

We continue to focus on this issue by increasing visibility in affected areas and promoting education about the impact this behaviour has on local residents. Our aim is to deter offending and support a safer and more considerate community.

Officers have been paying close attention to the use of e‑bikes within the community and have seen a reduction in related offences. This has been achieved through high‑visibility policing and targeted deterrence in the areas where issues were reported.
