Burglary continues to be voted for as a priority by the residents of the Chalfonts, areas around South Buckinghamshire continued to be targeted by burglary offenders

Issued: 1 Apr 2026

Status Update

The neighbourhood policing team have been working hard over recent months to combat burglary and acquisitive crime. We have supported wider policing operations such as Operation Grotto and Operation Pandilla, both of which saw intense proactive policing with partners across the Chalfonts, Gerrards Cross, Denham and Iver. These operations resulted in multiple arrests, stop searches, vehicle seizures and some excellent disruption and more detail can be found on our social media pages.

Acting on concerns raised by some of our rural villages about the issue of burglary, we have worked closely with Parish Councils and spokespersons and are mid-way through delivering a series of bespoke public meetings. So far these have been positively received, have offered an insight into local burglaries and given tailored and practical tips around crime prevention.

If you have any information please report on 101 or online at www. thamesvalley.police.uk.
