Local Priorities

Drugs is a community concern in the Wycombe town centre whether it be the usage or dealing of them, the team will continue to take steps to tackle drug offending throughout the town.

Issued: 1 Apr 2026

Status Update

The Wycombe town centre remains the most patrolled town centre in the Thames Valley, daily patrols continue to be carried out with the aim to detect and deter criminal behaviour, including drug offending.

Working closely with the local proactive team and intelligence department, the Wycombe neighbourhood team work to secure warrants and make arrests of the most prolific offenders. Recently, a High Wycombe Male responsible for a Class A drug line was arrested and sentenced to 5 years in prison after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis as well as possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A. This has disrupted a large source of drugs being distributed into Wycombe, the team will continue to work to see more drug dealers arrested.

Partnership working with agencies such as One Recovery Bucks continues to take place, officers have been carrying out joint patrols with the staff. Together, they have been engaging with individuals with the aim to divert them away from drug usage and prevent offending.
