Anti-social Behaviour

Throughout March, 21 anti-social behaviour incidents were recorded, these include:
Fly‑tipping on Squirrel Lane
Anti-social driving in Sands
Problem parking on Whitelands Road
Individuals trying car doors overnight on Bevelwood Gardens
The team is also monitoring concerns about e‑scooter misuse in the Downley and Disraeli areas.

Issued: 1 Apr 2026

Status Update

A major strand of the team’s ASB response is strengthened partnership working with Buckinghamshire Council’s enforcement staff. Many issues reported by residents require joint action. A dedicated day of action on 10 March 2026 led to 30 vehicles receiving penalty notices, with activity concentrated across Desborough, Oakridge, and Arnison Avenue. In addition, joint police‑council patrols have resulted in 80 enforcement tickets, including those for seatbelt offences, obstructions, and red‑light violations. Further joint operations — including those with the DVLA — are already being planned.

On 18 March, officers carried out focused enforcement on illegal and dangerous use of e‑bikes and e‑scooters, targeting areas including Downley, West Wycombe Road, Castlefield and Sands. This operation resulted in:

14 tickets issued for driving and riding offences

Reports filed against two individuals for driving offences

One e‑bike seized
Offences ranged from riding on pavements to vehicles with no number plates and unnecessary obstructions.

The team continues to monitor a Downley property previously subjected to a closure order for being used as a brothel. Regular checks ensure the order remains effective and that further ASB does not arise.
In Mulberry Close, Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) have been issued following persistent reports of ASB. If the anti-social behaviour continues, these may escalate to Community Protection Notices (CPNs) — enforceable orders that can lead to arrest for breaches.

Speeding continues to be one of the top concerns raised by residents across the Wycombe West area. In response, the Neighbourhood Policing Team has been developing a range of targeted initiatives aimed at reducing dangerous driving, improving road safety, and encouraging long‑term behavioural change within the community.

Issued: 1 Apr 2026

Status Update

Throughout March, officers carried out focused speed enforcement at:
Chappel Lane
Mill End Road
Plomer Hill
These operations resulted in nine Fixed Penalty Notices being issued, with the highest recorded speed being 48 mph in a 30-mph zone.

The team will continue to monitor local speeding hotspots and assess where future enforcement should be prioritised, including the potential deployment of the Road Safety Van in high‑risk areas.

Alongside speeding enforcement, the Neighbourhood Team is also collaborating with the Roads Policing Department to crack down on uninsured vehicles throughout the spring and summer months. These operations have already led to numerous motorists being stopped and held accountable

Actioned: 13 Apr 2026

The Wycombe West Neighbourhood Team continues to take proactive action to address drug related activity across the area. Our officers remain visible on patrol, carrying out targeted checks, engaging with young people, and responding to community concerns.

Issued: 1 Apr 2026

Status Update

Over the last month, 29 drug‑related incidents were recorded across the west side of town.
These led to:
9 arrests
11 community resolutions
11 searches, during which illegal items were recovered

Issues include Nitrous Oxide (NOS) Misuse. To address this:

New NOS warning signs have been installed, highlighting the dangers and health risks, as well as two NOS disposal bins secured, with management arrangements now being finalised. These measures aim to reduce litter, discourage misuse, and improve safety in affected areas.
