Antisocial behaviour - general.
Issued: 3 Feb 2026
Status Update
This month, PC Absolon has been working to reduce antisocial behaviour. He has been patrolling parks, streets and beaches where residents have reported problems. He has spoken with young people gathering in these areas, reminding them how their actions can affect others. He has also visited local shops to check they feel safe and supported.
PC Absolon is working with colleagues to plan for the summer months, when antisocial behaviour typically increases. This will include delivering sessions in schools and increasing police visibility across the ward.
Please continue to tell PC Absolon what matters to you by attending his ward surgeries or by contacting him on My Community Voice. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up by visiting www.mycommunityvoicekent.co.uk

Road safety issues.
Issued: 3 Feb 2026
Status Update
Many residents have shared their concerns about speeding vehicles, and PC Absolon takes these worries very seriously. Tackling speeding cannot be solved with a single road check, so he is focusing on a longer‑term plan to identify the roads that pose the greatest risk. He has already spoken to drivers across his wards about improving their driving and slowing down to keep others safe.
PC Absolon is also working with the council and different departments within Kent Police as part of his ongoing approach to reducing speeding.
If something matters to you, please keep sharing it with PC Absolon, either by attending his ward surgeries or by contacting him through My Community Voice. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up by visiting www.mycommunityvoicekent.co.uk
